Coat of ArmsAccording to Polish custom, a newly ennobled family was to share the coat of arms of a current clan. The "Skweres" along with well over a hundred other families all share the coat of arms of the Boncza Clan. All of these names together make up one of the smaller name groupings in the Polish clan system. The coat of arms is on an azure (blue - meaning truth, loyalty) background with a unicorn (symbolizing virtue, strength) springing (leaping) argent (white or silver - meaning peace, sincerity). This coat of arms is one of the oldest and dates back to the end of the 1300's.
